Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Barbara Schroeder has been in practice since 1995. Dr. Schroeder earned her medical degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio and has provided gynecological care to patients ever since. She delivered our second child by c-section, and had to spend 45 minutes repairing the mess that her previous OB left from her first C-section. During the procedure, Dr Schroeder seemed genuinely shocked at how bad a job the previous doctor did. Dr Schroeder was highly recommended by a doctor I worked with, and I’m very thankful for that recommendation.

She has done both of our hysterectomies and delivered all 3 of my sisters kids. I have never had any issues at their office! Great doctor.

My delivery was a scheduled induction and Dr. Schroeder helped the process go smoothly! She was in communication all throughout the night with the nurses at the hospital and was present for the delivery of our baby the next day! In all my visits with her she is has always been so calm, professional, caring and really easy to talk to. She helped me pin down an actual PCOS diagnosis (after other doctors going back and forth about whether I had it, without ever testing my hormone levels) and talked through my anxieties about trying to conceive soon. She is also very knowledgeable about the blood-clotting disorder I have, which can affect future pregnancies. Overall, she was very friendly and I am fully confident being in her care.

It was an unexpected c-section because his heart rate kept dropping due to the placenta breaking away.  It was very scary for my husband and I but Dr. Schroeder was amazing and I knew I was in good hands from the minute the wheeled me into the operating room.
